Inge Riis: As a Geologist, I have always been interested in the great outdoors, travelling the globe and good photography. My interest in photography started in Zambia where I discovered you can't photograph geological features and particularly wildlife with a point and shoot camera. After returning to North America I optained my Canon System and completed the New York Institute of Photography's Professional Photography course. I am now discovering the future of image making by taking their Digital Photography course. My photographic interests include nature, travel, people (especially children), and weddings.

Ken Meisner: A few years ago a little voice told me there was no way I could get the photographic results I was hoping for with a 110 camera. So I found some serious 35mm SLR equipment and discovered I love creating images. Thanks to Take Stock my Contax and I have been making my passion pay for itself. In the mid 90s I decided to add writing to my abilities and managing to graduate top of my class in Photojournalism at the Western Academy of Photography. For most of the last fifteen years I have shared my images with the Foothills Camera Club while hosting a number of How To Presentations and leading several Get To Know Your Stuff Outings. My favourite subjects are anything involving morning or evening light at the seashore, in the mountains, on the prairie and everywhere inbetween.
